There are two schools of thought around the Hectic House about cranberries. You either like them (me) or you hate them, they’re disgusting, and not worth the space on the table (the rest of my family).
Too bad they’re all doing it wrong. I usually resort of purchasing whole berry sauce in a can, and serving that. Every once in a while I do make the cranberry sauce from scratch. There’s really not not much to it, it just takes some time.
Also, I’m a diabetic, so I make the sauce with Splenda. I’ve never bothered to point that out to my family, since they shun cranberry sauce like the plague.
This cranberry sauce also works great on turkey sandwiches!
