Stuffing a Turkey

Stuffing a turkey is messy work, but well worth it. The stuffing will be much more flavorful when cooked in the bird. In addition, the turkey can be more moist and more flavorful too. Pretty much a win-win in my book.

Traditional Sausage-based Poultry Stuffing
Basic Poultry Stuffing

Directions

  • Fill the neck cavity with the stuffing mixture first
  • Pack the stuffing in pretty tightly into this cavity

  • Fill the larger cavity with the stuffing mixture
  • Again, pack it pretty tightly
  • Roast your turkey, the time depends on the size of the bird, but it will
