7-Layer Salad
Ingredients
- 1/2 head Lettuce
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 cup Frozen Peas
- 16 ounces Bacon
- 8 ounces Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 3 Green Onions
Instructions
- Chop the head of lettuce
- Hard boil the eggs
- Place the eggs in a small pot
- Cover with cold water
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat
- Remove from heat
- Cover
- Let stand for 10 minutes
- Drain
- Cool in ice water
- Peel the eggs
- Slice the eggs
- Thaw the peas
- Separate the bacon into individual slices
- Put the bacon between paper towels on a microwave-safe plate
- Cook the bacon in the microwave for at least 6 minutes
- Check to determine doneness, if it’s not done cook for another minute
- Repeat until the bacon is fully cooked
- Allow the bacon to cool
- Crumble the bacon
- Coarsely chop the green onions
