Cucumbers with Sour Cream and Dill
Ingredients
- 2 medium Cucumbers
- 1/3 cup Sour Cream
- 1 tablespoon Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Granulated Sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons Dried Dill
- Salt
Instructions
- Thinly slice the cucumbers
- Place a layer of cucumbers in the mixing bowl
- Sprinkle the cucumbers with a small amount of salt
- Continue layering cucumbers and adding salt until all cucumber slices are used
- Place a saucer or other weight on cucumbers to weigh them down
- Cover and let stand for several hours at room temperature
- Pour off cucumber juices
- Combine sour cream, vinegar, pepper, sugar, and chopped dill in the small mixing bowl and stir until completely blended
- Pour the mixture on top of the cucumbers
- Serve
