Easy Garlic Breadsticks
Ingredients
- Cooking Spray
- 2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup Water
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
- 2 tablespoons All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tablespoon Oregano
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400F
- Spray the baking sheet with cooking spray
- Combing the flour, baking powder and salt in the large mixing bowl
- Stir until completed combined
- In a small mixing bowl combine the water and cooking oil
- Stir until you can no longer see the cooking oil
- Slowly add the water mixture to the flour mixture
- Using your hands, combine the flour-water mixture until it forms into a ball
- Sprinkle the 2 tablespoons additional flour onto a work area on your counter
- Sprinkle 1/4 cup of the parmesan cheese over the flour
- Sprinkle 1/2 a tablespoon oregano over the cheese and flour
- Remove the dough ball from the mixing bowl and place it on the floured surface
- Knead the dough with your hands for 5 minutes, turning often
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, using a rolling pin
- Sprinkle the remaining parmesan cheese and oregano over the dough
- Using a large knife, but the dough into 1-inch wide strips
- Transfer the dough strips to the sprayed baking sheet
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven
- Combine the butter and garlic powder in a small microwave-safe bowl
- Microwave the butter on 50% power for 1 minute
- If the butter isn’t melted, microwave for an additional 30 second at 50%
- Continue microwaving until the butter is completely melted
- Using a pastry brush, brush the melted butter over the breadsticks
- Serve
