This is a recipe that uses a microwave. If you don’t have one, or haven’t cleaned your microwave since last semester and want to cook it in a pot on the stove top, check out this recipe instead.
1-Minute Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1 cup Quick 1-Minute Oats DO NOT try to use regular, rolled, or non-quick-cooking oats
- 1.75 cups Water
Instructions
- Pour the oats into a microwave-safe bowl
- Pour the water over the oats
- Cook the oats and water in the microwave on high to 2 minutes
- Carefully remove the bowl from the microwave
- Stir completely
- Let the oat mixture stand for 2 minutes or risk burning your tongue
