Basic Chili
Ingredients
- 1 medium Onion
- 1 medium Green Bell Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 3 tablespoons Minced Garlic
- 2 pounds Ground Beef
- 15 ounces Chili Beans
- 15 ounces Diced Tomatoes
- 6 ounces Tomato Paste
- 2 tablespoons Chili Powder
Instructions
- Chop the onions
- Chop the bell pepper
- Heat the oil in the skillet on medium heat
- Add the onions, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the preheated skillet
- Saute until the onion is soft
- Add ground beef to the skillet
- Cook until the beef is browned
- Add the chili beans, tomatoes, tomato paste, and chili powder to skillet
- Bring to a boil
- Reduce heat to low
- Simmer, uncovered, for 40 minutes
- Serve
