Cheeseburgers
Ingredients
- 1 large Tomato
- 1 large Onion
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 2 tablespoons Onion Powder
- 2 tablespoons Garlic Powder
- 2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Ketchup
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 4 slices Cheddar Cheese
- 4 large Hamburger Buns
- Cooking Spray
Instructions
- Preheat the broiler in the oven to high
- Slice the tomato and onions into thin slices
- Combine the ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce in the mixing bowl
- Separate the beef mixture into four sections, forming each section into a tight ball
- Using the palms of your hands, press the ball into a flattened shape (so it looks like a thick hamburger!)
- Place the broiler pan into the preheated oven (no, don't put the burgers on the pan...yet)
- Allow the broiler pan to preheat for four minutes then remove the broiler pan from the oven
- Spray the pan with cooking spray
- Immediately place the four burger patties onto the broiler pan
- Return the broiler pan to the oven and broil the burgers for 4 minutes
- Turn the hamburgers over and broil for 4 more minutes
- Remove the broiler pan from the oven
- Place the cheese slices on the burgers
- Place the burgers on the buns
