Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage
Ingredients
- 4 large Carrots
- 10 small Red Potatoes
- 1 medium Onion
- 1/2 head Cabbage
- 4 cups Water
- 4 pounds Corned Beef Brisket
- 6 ounces Beer
Instructions
- Peel the carrots
- Cut the carrots into bite-sized pieces
- Cut the potatoes into quarters
- Coarsely chop the onion
- Cut the cabbage into quarters
- Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray
- Put the carrots, potatoes, and onion into the bottom of the slow cooker
- Pour in the water
- Put the brisket on top of the vegetables
- Pour the beer over the brisket
- Sprinkle the spices from the corned beef packet
- Cover the slow cooker pot
- Set the cooker on High
- Cook for 7 hours
- An hour before serving, add the cabbage
- Cook for 1 more hour
