Salisbury Steak
Ingredients
- 2 pounds Ground Beef
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Chili Sauce
- 3/4 cup Seasoned Breadcrumbs
- 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 28 ounces Beef Broth
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 1/4 cup Water
- 8 ounces Mushroom Pieces
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°F
- In mixing bowl, mix ground beef, eggs, chili sauce, and breadcrumbs
- Divide mixture into 8 portions
- Form portions into patties
- Heat oil in skillet on medium heat
- Brown patties in preheated skillet for 5 minutes per side
- Place patties on baking sheet
- Put baking sheet into preheated oven
- Keep patties warm in the oven
- Add beef broth and cornstarch to skillet
- Add water and stir the mixture until the cornstarch is dissolved
- Set heat on high and cook until the mixture thickens, stirring frequently
- Stir in mushrooms
- Spoon gravy over patties
- Serve
