Simple Rice Pilaf
Ingredients
- 1/2 cups Instant Rice
- 1 medium Onion
- 1 ounce Butter
- 3/4 cup Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- 2/3 cup Water
- 2 teaspoon Chicken Bouillon Granules
Instructions
- Finely chop the onion
- Add the butter to a medium pot and heat over medium heat until the butter is melted
- Add the onion and rice
- Cook, stirring frequently until the rice and onion are lightly browned
- Add the vegetables, water, and bouillon granules to the pot
- Stir the mixture to combine all ingredients
- Increase the temperature to medium-high
- Bring the mixture to a boil
- Reduce the heat to medium-low
- Cover the pot
- Cook for 10 minutes
- Stir
- Serve
