Boom💥, just like that September is done!
We’re into 🎃 season and Fall weather…right on the heels of super hot weather here in Kansas. Our mornings are foggy and the squirrels are working hard to store enough food for the entire winter. The Farmer’s Almanac has warned of a colder Winter here, and based on the activity of the critters around Hectic Manor I’m believing it 100%!
With the advent of cooler weather, I’m starting to make more warm, comfort meals around Hectic Manor. I’ve been experimenting with a bunch of new combinations and some fusions of long-time favorites. Of my biggest experiments has involved dump meals.
Essentially a dump meal is one where you pour all the ingredients into a cooking vessel and let it cook. You can even dump the ingredients into a freezer-safe bag or container and freeze it for later cooking. These are about the easiest kinds of meals out there. And the options for what you make are almost endless.
Over the next few weeks I’m going to be adding a load of recipes to the website, but in the meantime, are some dump meal ideas that you can make at home in just a few minutes using just a slow-cooker.
Make it a great day in the kitchen!
