Cheese Crisps

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 12 ounces Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • Cooking Spray

Instructions

  • Let the butter come to room temperature
  • Add the butter, flour, cheese, and cayenne pepper to the large mixing bowl
  • Combine the ingredients until everything is completely mixed
  • Add the flour to the bowl
  • Mix thoroughly
  • Slowly add the water to the bowl
  • Mix until a ball forms
  • Wrap the ball in cling wrap
  • Refrigerate the ball for at least 2 hours
  • Preheat the oven to 325F
  • Spray the baking sheet with cooking spray
  • Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough into a single thin sheet
  • Cut the dough into squares
  • Transfer the squares to the cookie sheet
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes
  • Serve
