Cheddar Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces All Purpose Flour 1-1/2 cups
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Dill
  • 4 ounces Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 12 ounces Beer
  • Cooking Spray

Instructions

  • Heat the oven to 375F
  • Liberally spray the a 9x5 loaf pan with cooking spray
  • Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and dill in a large mixing bowl
  • Stir so that they are completely mixed together
  • Add the cheese and beer
  • Stir just enough to combine all the ingredients
  • Pour the batter into the loaf pan
  • Bake in the preheated oven, on the middle rack, for 50 minutes
  • Remove from the oven
  • Cool for at least 10 minutes in the loaf pan
  • Remove the bread from the loaf pan and cool on a cooling rack for at least 16 minutes
  • Slice
  • Serve
