Cucumbers with Sour Cream and Dill

Ingredients

  • 2 medium Cucumbers
  • 1/3 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated Sugar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons Dried Dill
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Thinly slice the cucumbers
  • Place a layer of cucumbers in the mixing bowl
  • Sprinkle the cucumbers with a small amount of salt
  • Continue layering cucumbers and adding salt until all cucumber slices are used
  • Place a saucer or other weight on cucumbers to weigh them down
  • Cover and let stand for several hours at room temperature
  • Pour off cucumber juices
  • Combine sour cream, vinegar, pepper, sugar, and chopped dill in the small mixing bowl and stir until completely blended
  • Pour the mixture on top of the cucumbers
  • Serve
