7-Layer Salad

Ingredients

  • 1/2 head Lettuce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas
  • 16 ounces Bacon
  • 8 ounces Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 3 Green Onions

Instructions

  • Chop the head of lettuce
  • Hard boil the eggs
  • Place the eggs in a small pot
  • Cover with cold water
  • Bring to a boil over medium-high heat
  • Remove from heat
  • Cover
  • Let stand for 10 minutes
  • Drain
  • Cool in ice water
  • Peel the eggs
  • Slice the eggs
  • Thaw the peas
  • Separate the bacon into individual slices
  • Put the bacon between paper towels on a microwave-safe plate
  • Cook the bacon in the microwave for at least 6 minutes
  • Check to determine doneness, if it’s not done cook for another minute
  • Repeat until the bacon is fully cooked
  • Allow the bacon to cool
  • Crumble the bacon
  • Coarsely chop the green onions
