Fill the large pot 3/4 of the way full with water
Bring the water to a boil on the stovetop over medium-high heat
Cut the butter into 4 pieces
When the water is boiling, add the egg noodles
Boil for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally
Drain the noodles
Return the empty pot to the stovetop
Turn the heat to low
Add the butter to the pot, one piece at a time
Stir the butter so that it melts
Add the noodles to the butter in the pot
Stir to coat the noodles in the butter
Sprinkle the parsley over the noodles
Stir to combine
Serve
