Spanish Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Instant Rice
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 8 ounces Tomato Sauce
  • 4 ounces Diced Green Chilies
  • 2 tablespoons Taco Seasoning

Instructions

  • Heat the vegetable oil in the medium skillet over medium heat
  • Add the rice
  • Stir until the rice is coated in the oil
  • Add the chicken broth, tomato sauce, chilies, and taco seasoning
  • Stir to combine
  • Turn the heat up to medium-high
  • Bring the mixture to a boil
  • Reduce the heat to low
  • Put a lid on the skillet
  • Cook for 15 minutes
  • Remove from heat
  • Allow the mixture to rest for 10 minutes
  • Fluff with a fork
  • Serve
